Summer Linguistics School in Estonia is something every student interested in linguistics should experience at least once in their lifetime. It’s a great opportunity to learn something new in the field of languages and how they work and to deepen one‘s love and appreciation for the subject. All that is possible thanks to wonderful organizers, who not only make sure to maximize our academic input and provide us knowledge from experts from around the world, but also give us time and space to
explore the beautiful town of Narva-Joesuu and ourselves. The main thing that I took home from Estonia and that I’m grateful for every day, are the friendships we formed with other students and the beautiful memories we made together. All in all, this linguistics school is a great way to get out of your comfort zone, to expand your brain to new concepts and possibilities – and I can recommend it with all my heart.

I really liked the summer linguistic school. Amazing, exciting classes where I learned a lot of new things. I got an opportunity to get a little acquainted with various languages, such as Estonian, Kazakh, Catalan. I have a great desire to start learning these languages on my own. I met a lot of incredible guys, with whom it was very pleasant to communicate and spend time together. Even after the end of the linguistic camp, we keep in touch and share the news. On top of all, it's held at a very beautiful place on the beach, where I managed to take a huge number of amazing photos.

I really liked the Linguistics Summer School 2022! It was my first experience studying in an English-speaking environment, and it was great. There were people from many different countries, and I made a lot of friends that I still stay in touch with.
The accommodation was nice and cozy, only a few meters away from the sea, and the sandy beach was perfect for morning runs.
The courses were very interesting. I learned many new things about fields of linguistics that I didn't even know existed. After LSS, I even started to consider dedicating my future life to linguistics. Also, there were a few classes about Hebrew, but it was enough to encourage me to start learning it.
After all, I'm very glad that I went to LSS, and I really want to go again!
